1061 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Abū Muʿāwiya narrated to us; al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Shimr ibn ʿAṭiyyah, from Yaḥyā ibn Waththāb, who said: Ibn ʿUmar remarked, “Boy, let the porridge finish cooking so that the heat of the oil dissipates, for some people have rushed to enjoy their good things in this worldly life.”
