1058 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to us. He said: I heard ʿĀṣim al-Aḥwal, from the person he named, say, “Whenever someone looked at Ibn ʿUmar, he would think that the man was afflicted with something, so thoroughly did he follow every trace of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.”
