1057 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; ʿUqbah al-Muḥabbir narrated to us; Muḥammad ibn ʿAbbād told me that whenever Ibn ʿUmar wished to give in charity he would say, “Go to the as-sudān (black Africans), for they are the most vulnerable of people.”
