1040 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Shayban ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; he said: Abu Hilal narrated to us; he said: Muʿawiyah ibn Qurrah reported that his father used to say to his sons once they had performed the ʿIshaʾ prayer, “My sons, go to sleep, for perhaps Allah will grant you some goodness in the night.”
