1023 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; al-Layth ibn Khalid al-Balkhi, Abu Bakr, informed us; Malik ibn Anas narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Saʿid, who said: “Muʿadh—may Allah have mercy on him—was married to two women. Whenever he was staying with one of them, he would not so much as drink water in the house of the other.”
