1010 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Sandal narrated to us; al-Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from ʿAmr ibn Murrah, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Salamah, who said:
A man said to Muʿādh, “Teach me.” Muʿādh replied, “Will you really obey me?” The man answered, “I am keen to comply.” Muʿādh said, “Fast, then break your fast; perform the prayer and take your rest; earn a livelihood without falling into sin; and do not die except as a Muslim. And beware the supplication of one who has been wronged.”
