1007 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Sulaymān narrated to us; Ziyād, the client of Quraysh, informed us, from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah, who said:
Muʿādh (may Allah have mercy on him) said to his son: "My son, whenever you perform a prayer, pray as one bidding farewell; do not assume that you will ever return to it. And know, my son, that the believer dies between two good deeds: one he has already sent ahead and one he leaves behind."
