1004 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Wakiʿ narrated to us; Fudayl ibn Ghazwan narrated to me, from Abu al-Furat, from Malik al-Ahmar, from Hudhayfah—I heard him say:
“The one who sells wine is like the one who drinks it. Beware! Whoever keeps swine is as guilty as the one who eats them. Attend to your slaves and find out where they obtain their provisions, for no flesh that has grown from illicit gain will enter Paradise.”
