1003 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Wakiʿ narrated to us; ʿIkrimah ibn ʿAmmar narrated to us; Abu ʿAbd Allah al-Filastini narrated to me, from ʿAbd al-ʿAziz, the brother of Hudhayfah, from Hudhayfah, who said:

“The first thing you will lose from your religion is khushūʿ (humble reverence), and the last thing you will lose from your religion is the prayer.”
