1000 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Wahb ibn Munabbih al-Wasiti narrated to us; Khalid ibn ʿAbd Allah informed us, from Abu Sinan, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said:
Whoever, of his own accord, says, “All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds,” Allah records for him thirty good deeds and wipes away thirty misdeeds. Whoever says, “Allah is Most Great,” Allah records for him twenty good deeds and wipes away twenty misdeeds. And whoever says, “Glorified is Allah,” Allah records for him twenty good deeds and wipes away twenty misdeeds.
١٠٠٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ مُنَبِّهٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، أَنْبَأَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ مِنْ قِبَلِ نَفْسِهِ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثَلَاثِينَ حَسَنَةً، وَمَحَى عَنْهُ ثَلَاثِينَ سَيِّئَةً، وَمَنْ قَالَ: اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عِشْرِينَ حَسَنَةً، وَمَحَى عَنْهُ عِشْرِينَ سَيِّئَةً، وَمَنْ قَالَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عِشْرِينَ حَسَنَةً وَمَحَى عَنْهُ عِشْرِينَ سَيِّئَةً "
