993 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Abu ʿUbaydah al-Haddad narrated to us; ʿUthman al-Shahham Abu Salamah informed us; Farqad al-Sabahi reported:

Abu Hurayrah would circumambulate the House (the Kaʿbah) saying, “Woe is me because of this stomach of mine! If I fill it, it weighs me down; and if I leave it hungry, it wears me out.”
