976 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: I was informed by Sayyār. Sahl ibn Aslam al-ʿAdawī narrated to us; Yazīd ibn Abī Manṣūr narrated to us, from Anas ibn Mālik, from Abū Ṭalḥah, who said: “We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hunger, so each of us uncovered the single stone we had fastened to his belly. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then uncovered two stones fastened to his own.”
