969 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu ʿAbd Allah al-Sulami related to me; Damrah narrated, from Ibn Shawdhab, from Salih ibn Khalid, who said: “Why should a man meet his brother with a sullen manner? Meet your brother with a cheerful face; and if you possess any good, then bestow it upon him.”
