11 – Abū Saʿīd, the freedman of Banī Hāshim, narrated to us; Thābit narrated to us; Hilāl—meaning Ibn Khabbāb—narrated to us, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās—may Allah be pleased with him—who said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away leaving neither a dinar nor a dirham, neither a male slave nor a maidservant. He left only his coat of mail, which was being held in pledge with a Jew for thirty sāʿs of food.”
