96 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Muḍar ibn ʿAlī narrated to us; al-Aṣmaʿī narrated to us; he said: I heard Ḥammād ibn Salamah say: “A curse is not a black stain that appears on a person’s face; rather, it is that you never leave one sin without immediately falling into another.”
