87 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Rāzī narrated to me; he said: A man was heard saying, “Muʿāwiyah related some words to us,” and in the course of that speech he said, “Seek Allah’s forgiveness for the sin on account of which I have been set in authority over you.”
