77 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn ʿAbad ibn Musa told me; he said: Kathir ibn Hisham related to us; he said: Kulthum ibn Jawshan related to us, saying: “I heard that when tribulations descend, they are met by people’s deeds: for the believer they become a purifying reward, while for the unbeliever they bring utter ruin.”
