72 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: al-Hasan ibn Jahwar informed us; he said: Muḥammad ibn Kunāsah informed us; he said: I heard ʿUmar ibn Dharr say,

“Has the glimpse you caught of His forbearance emboldened you to leap into acts of disobedience? Is it His anger that you are seeking? Have you not heard Him say: ‘Then, when they provoked Our wrath, We took vengeance on them and drowned them all’ (Quran 43:55)?”
