62 – He said: ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; and Harun ibn ‘Abd Allah said: Abu al-Nadr informed us, from Abu al-‘Abbas al-Zahid, from a man of the Ansar, from Ibn Munabbih, who said: “Allah, Blessed and Exalted, declared: ‘I have taken the name “the One of boundless forbearance”; I do not punish until My anger is aroused, for no one can escape Me… I do not seize any one of you for the sin of the multitude, so that I am not disobeyed openly in your midst, until your own hands restrain whoever defies Me…’”
