53 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Ḥarīz ibn ʿUthmān al-Raḥabī informed us; he said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī ʿAwf related to me:
“The governor … Allah … the one under his authority … Allah; so beware of Allah’s displeasure.”
٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الرَّحَبِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَوْفٍ،: «الْوَالِي. . . اللَّهِ ﷿. . . الْمَوْلَى عَلَيْهِ. . . اللَّهُ، فَاحْذَرُوا كُرْهَ اللَّهِ ﷿»
