50 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAli ibn Muslim informed us; he said: Siyyar narrated to us; he said: Jaʿfar informed us; he said: I heard Malik ibn Dinar say: I heard al-Hajjaj declaring, “Know that every time you commit a new sin, Allah brings forth from among your rulers a punishment commensurate with it.”
