356 – ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; he said: Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā al-Shaybānī told us; he said: Abū Ḥafṣ al-Abbār related to us, from a shaykh among the people of Syria, from Makḥūl—in a report traced back to the Prophet—who said: “No bird is ever caught except because it neglected tasbīḥ (the glorification of Allah).”
