321 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Idris told me; he said: Aḥmad ibn Ḥajjāj al-Raqqī narrated to us ⦗205⦘; he said: Abū Ḥāmid related to me, from Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz, from Rabīʿah ibn Yazīd al-Dimashqī, from Nufayʿ, who said: I heard Kaʿb say, “Allah has never punished any of the past nations except between the two Kanūns (that is, the period between the months of Kanūn I and Kanūn II—roughly December to January).”
