Al-'UqubatIbn Abi al-Dunya

318 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAli ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; he said: Shuʿbah narrated to us from Abu Qays, who said: I heard Huzayl ibn Shurahbil relate from ʿAbd Allah ibn Masʿud, who said:

“The Hour will not be established except upon the vilest of people—those who recognize no good deed and forbid no wrongdoing. They will copulate openly just as livestock do in the middle of the road. A woman will ⦗204⦘ pass by a man in the street and he will satisfy his desire with her; then he will return to his companions, laughing with them while they laugh back at him, like the restless surge of putrid water that no one would drink.”
