303 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, as Ibrāhīm ibn Saʿīd also related to me, saying: Abū Usāmah told us, from Misʿar, from ʿAlqamah ibn Marthad, who said: ⦗196⦘
“While a man was performing ṭawāf (circumambulation) around the House, the forearm of a woman suddenly caught his eye. He then laid his own forearm upon hers, taking pleasure in the touch, and it clung fast to her arm. Dismayed, he went to one of the elders. The shaykh said, ‘Return to the very place where you committed the act and pledge before the Lord of the House that you will never repeat it.’ He did so, and his arm was released.”
