296 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; and Ishaq likewise narrated to us; they said: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us; he said: Abu Bakr ibn ʿAyyash narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Yahya ibn Waththab, from Hudhayfah, who said:

“You never leave one affair but that what follows it is even more severe.”
