30 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Ismaʿil ibn Ibrahim narrated to me; he said: Salih al-Murri narrated to me, from Malik ibn Dinar, who said: “I read in the Wisdom that Allah, exalted is He, says:
‘I am the King of kings; the hearts of the kings are in My hand. Whoever obeys Me, I turn their rulers into a mercy for him, and whoever disobeys Me, I make them a punishment upon him. Do not busy yourselves with reviling the kings; rather, repent to Me, and I will incline them toward you.’”
