273 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Ishaq ibn Ismaʿil told us; he said: Abu Muʿawiyah narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu ʿUbaydah ibn ʿAbd Allah, who said: “The dung beetle was almost destroyed in its own burrow because of the son of Adam’s sin.”
٢٧٣ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: «كَادَ الْجُعَلُ أَنْ يَهْلِكَ فِي جُحْرِهِ مِنْ خَطِيئَةِ ابْنِ آدَمَ»
