266 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Yaʿqūb ibn Hārūn narrated to us; he said: al-ʿAwwām ibn Ḥawshab narrated to us; he said: Ibrāhīm al-Taymī said, “When Allah—majestic and exalted—wishes to bring the Hour to pass, He is at His most wrathful toward His creation.” al-ʿAwwām added: and al-Ḥasan said, “The shattering cry arises from that wrath: ‘It will be but one single scolding cry’ (Q 79:13).”
