259 – ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; he said: Abū Khaythamah narrated to us, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Jarīr, from his father Jarīr (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whenever sin is committed among a people and the perpetrators are the strongest and most numerous, and yet the rest do not intervene, Allah Most High will blanket them all with His punishment.”
