251 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Salih narrated to us, from a shaykh who reported to them, from his father, from Wahb ibn Munabbih, who said:

Talut said to his daughter, “Grant me an opportunity to catch David off his guard so that I may kill him—then we can repent.” She replied, “And how can we be sure that death will not overtake us before that?”
