26 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Rahim ibn ʿAbbad al-Miʿwali narrated to me; he said: Rajaʾ ibn Hureyth al-Bahili narrated to us; he said: Khazim ibn Jabalah ibn Abi Nadrah al-ʿAbdi narrated to us, from Dirar ibn Murrah, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Abi Hudhayl, from ʿAmmar ibn Yasir and Hudhayfah, who both said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “When Allah intends to punish a people, He first causes their children to die and renders the wombs of their women barren; then the punishment descends upon them while none among them is shown mercy.”
