25 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Azhar ibn Marwan narrated to me; he said: Jaʿfar ibn Sulayman told us; he said: Hisham ibn Hassan narrated to us; he said: I heard al-Hasan say: “By Allah, fitnah is nothing but a punishment from Allah that befalls the people.”
٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ، يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ وَاللَّهِ مَا هِيَ إِلَّا عُقُوبَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ﷿ تَحِلُّ بِالنَّاسِ»
