237 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: al-ʿAbbās ibn Yazīd narrated to me; he said: Yazīd ibn Zurayʿ narrated to us; he said: Saʿīd, from Qatādah, reported: “We were informed that Qarun is swallowed by the earth a man’s height every single day, and he continues to plunge and quake within it until the Day of Resurrection.”
