236 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Fudayl narrated to us; he said: Khalid ibn al-Harith narrated to us, from ʿUthman ibn al-Aswad, from Mujahid, regarding the Almighty’s words, “So he went forth before his people in all his splendor” (al-Qasas 28:79): “He appeared riding white mules, their saddles a deep crimson, clothed in safflower-dyed garments.”
