208 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Hārūn b. Maʿrūf narrated to us; he said: al-Walīd b. Muslim narrated to us, from Ibn Jābir, from ʿAṭāʾ al-Khurasānī ⦗140⦘ who said: “David—peace be upon him—engraved his sin on the palm of his hand so that he would never forget it; whenever he glanced at it, his hands would tremble.”
