21 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Khalid ibn Khidāsh informed us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Wahb informed us, from ʿUmar ibn al-Ḥārith, from Saʿīd ibn Abī Hilāl, from Kaʿb, who said: “The earth quakes only because it was created upon the back of a great fish. Should that fish ⦗32⦘ happen to move—or whenever sins are committed upon the earth—it shudders in fear of the Lord, Exalted is He, whenever He casts His gaze upon it.”
