202 – ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; he said: al-Husayn b. ‘Ali, Abu ‘Abd Allah al-Muqri’, related to me from a certain shaykh who narrated to him, saying: ⦗136⦘ “Allah revealed to David—peace be upon him—‘It lies within My prior knowledge that I shall leave you to yourself for one hour.’ He asked, ‘My Lord, at what time will that be?’ It was said, ‘In such-and-such a month of such-and-such a year, on such-and-such a day, at such-and-such an hour.’ When that appointed day arrived, he entered his prayer niche.”
