- ʿAbdullāh narrated to me; he said: Azhar ibn Marwān al-Raqāshī narrated to me; he said: Jaʿfar ibn Sulaymān narrated to us; he said: Mālik ibn Dīnār narrated to us, saying:
“When the two sons of Aaron were consumed by the fire, Moses seized Aaron by the head and stood before Allah, afraid that the two youths might already have been consigned to the Fire. ⦗128⦘
Mālik then fell silent. An elder who was sitting in the circle spoke up and said, ‘It has reached us that he was told, “They will have no punishment in the Hereafter.”’
Mālik said: and so he was satisfied.”
