189 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Yusuf likewise narrated, saying: ʿAbd al-Samad the Qur’an-reciter, the transmitter, narrated to us. Yaʿqub al-Qummi reported from Jaʿfar, who said: “They converged upon it like flocks of birds, hoping to hide beneath it; but whenever they entered, they found it hotter than the open air. That ‘canopy’ was but a cloud.”
