179 – ʿAbd Allāh related to us; he said: Ishāq ibn Ismāʿīl narrated to us; he said: Wakīʿ narrated to us; he said: Sufyān narrated to us, from Abū al-Haytham, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, regarding Allah’s words, fa-lawlā annahu kāna mina al-musabbiḥīn ("Had it not been that he was among those who glorify Allah," al-Ṣāffāt 37:143). He said: “that is, among those who pray.”
