175 – ʿAbd Allāh related to us; he said: Isḥāq narrated to us; he said: Wakīʿ narrated to us; he said: Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAbd al-Malik narrated to us; he said: I heard Saʿīd ibn Jubayr say, “The punishment overwhelmed Jonah’s people just as a grave overwhelms (the one buried in it).”
