16 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me; he said: al-Humaydi narrated to me, from Sufyan ibn Saʿid, from Misʿar, who said:

“It reached me that an angel was ordered to make a certain town sink into the earth. He said, ‘My Lord, in it is So-and-so, the devoted worshiper.’ Allah, exalted is He, revealed to him, ‘Begin with him, for never once did his face register displeasure for My sake.’”
