142 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us. He said: Yaḥyā ibn Ayyūb narrated to us; he said: Ismāʿīl ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah informed me, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUmar, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said regarding the people of al-Ḥijr, “Do not enter the territory of these punished folk unless you are weeping; if you are not weeping, then do not go in, lest the same calamity that befell them befall you.”
١٤٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِأَصْحَابِ الْحِجْرِ: «لَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُعَذَّبِينَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ، أَنْ يُصِيبَكُمْ مِثْلُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ»
