138 – ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn also told me; he said: Ismāʿīl ibn Ziyād related to me; he said: al-Ḥakam ibn Ẓuhayr narrated to us; he said: Isḥāq ibn Manṣūr narrated to us; he said: Asbāṭ ibn Naṣr transmitted from al-Suddī, who said: ⦗92⦘ “When the she-camel’s foal saw his mother lying there, hamstrung, he cried out, ‘My Lord, my Lord—my mother!’ and the punishment overtook them.”
