125 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Ibn Abi Maryam also related to me, from ʿAbd al-Rahman b. Haniʾ, who said: I heard ʿUmar b. Dharr say, “Many a single bite has left its eater with a hunger that endures for a long time.” He then added, “Woe to the people of Hell from among Adam’s offspring! Nothing brought that upon them except their father’s eating from the tree.”
