10 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Ismaʿil ibn Ibrahim narrated to me; he said: Salih al-Murri narrated to me, from al-Hasan, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When people flaunt their knowledge but neglect to act upon it, when they profess love with their tongues while their hearts harbor mutual hatred, and when they sever the bonds of kinship, Allah curses them at that moment, rendering them deaf and blinding their sight.”
