45 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Yaʿqub ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us; Hisham ibn ʿAmmar narrated to us; Baqiyya ibn al-Walid narrated to us; Abu Jaʿfar al-Razi, from ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz, from Salih ibn Kaysan, from a son of ʿUthman ibn ʿAffan, from ʿUthman ibn ʿAffan—may Allah be pleased with him—who said:
“The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
‘Whoever leaves his house intending to travel and, upon stepping out, says:
“In the name of Allah. I believe in Allah. I seek refuge in Allah. I place my trust in Allah. There is no might and no power except with Allah,”
will be granted the good of that departure and shielded from its harm.’”
٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، نا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، نا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، نا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنِ ابْنٍ لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا، فَقَالَ حِينَ خَرَجَ: بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ، آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ، وَاعْتَصَمْتُ بِاللَّهِ، وَتَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، رُزِقَ خَيْرَ ذَلِكَ الْمَخْرَجِ، وَصُرِفَ عَنْهُ شَرُّهُ "
