35 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn al-Ḥusayn related to me; Manbūdh Abū Hammām informed me; Abū Maʿbad—­a man from among the people of Bahrain—­narrated:

A worshipper who was once in Bahrain said to me, “It is enough, in matters of reliance upon Him, that He knows from your heart the excellence of your trust in Him. How many of His servants have turned their affair over to Him, and He has spared them from whatever troubled them!” He then recited: “Whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he never expected.” (At-Ṭalāq 65:3)
