34 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abū ʿAbd Allah Aḥmad ibn Bujayr narrated to us; ⦗63⦘ Isḥāq ibn Yūsuf al-Azraq narrated to us; ʿAwf reported:

Talq ibn Ḥabīb used to say: “I ask You for the fear that all creation has of You, for the knowledge of those who fear You, for the reliance the believers place upon You, for the certainty possessed by those who trust in You, for the turning of the humble toward You, for the humility of those who return to You, for the patience of those who give thanks to You, for the gratitude of those who endure patiently for Your sake, and that You join me with the living whom You sustain in Your presence.”
